I took my car here after it was recommended to me, and Iβm going to continue bringing my car here whenever I have something wrong with it. Mario and the guys are amazing, straight to the point, no bullshit, and make you feel like family. They gave me all new brakes, rotors, and front tires for a great price, and they were super fast. To top it all off, they gave me a bunch of tank tops in 3 different colors!

I had used this mechanic for a few simple repairs before, and the experience was acceptable up to a point. I had been a loyal customer, so the way I was treated during this experience was honestly shocking. I brought my car in because the belt had slipped and the tensioner needed to be replaced. They replaced both parts, but immediately after the repair my power steering started failing. This made me think the system may not have been properly bled, the fluid wasnβt filled to the correct level, or something wasnβt installed correctly. Instead of checking their previous work, I was told that the power steering pump and reservoir needed to be replaced. Mario gave me an estimate of $500 for the repair and mentioned it would be even cheaper if I supplied the parts myself. I agreed to the $500 repair, and he told me to come back the next morning. When I arrived, the first thing he asked was, βDo you have the parts?β We had never agreed that I would be bringing them, so this was confusing. Rather than argue, I went to AutoZone because that was the parts store he recommended and bought a new power steering pump and reservoir. After they installed the new parts, the power steering issu

I was referred to this shop by neighborhood friends, and I'll be forever grateful. Mario is warm and friendly, wanting to sing karaoke while I waited for my car since I declined walking to the nearby bagel shop and hung in their office instead. Need a gym? Workout while you wait! Everyone in and out of that place knows and loves him and his boys, he's clearly a staple in the community. The service was quick and cheaper than my first quote elsewhere by $150. I highly recommend going to see Mario and his sons, you won't be disappointed- I left with new brakes and TWO new tshirts! :)

They are the absolute best at Salernoβs! Been going here a few years since Ludlow closed and I wish I found them sooner. Always super helpful and transparent. Never have I ever met a mechanic where the price you pay is always lower than the quoted price. Everyone Iβve interacted with is super sweet and helpful. The only place to go.

I had a dent/scratch from a metal pole and wanted just a cosmetic touch up so it wouldnβt rust, not a total expensive fix. Jose did a great job for a really reasonable price, sourced the right paint in less than a day and was so nice the whole time
